Application of two-dimensional image measuring instrument in PCB inspection

 

Among the applications of image measuring instruments, there is one application that we have a lot of contact with, that is, the PCB detection of two-dimensional image. The application of the secondary image measuring instrument to PCB detection can be mainly divided into two aspects:

 

1、 Firstly, in the PCB industry, the secondary image measuring instrument is mainly used to measure the shape of high-density PCB. Today, based on the strict requirements of the original electrical performance, customers gradually move towards the requirements for PCB appearance. Its shape tolerance also tends to be harsh, so the image measuring instrument tool just makes up for this gap. What's more, many PCB manufacturers prefer more precise three-dimensional measuring instruments.

 

2、 In addition, on the level of possible expansion, the image measuring instrument can also be used for PCB film measurement, which is suitable for a high-tech inspection of production tools in the plate making process. Through the data provided by the project, use the quadratic element to measure the distance between any points of the PCB film, and obtain the data list for analysis, so as to scientifically obtain the expansion and contraction coefficient of the PCB film, so as to help the production more scientifically.

 

For the so-called PCB detection, we mostly use the desired instrument to detect the PCB length, width and height data, so generally we can use the two-dimensional image measuring instrument for detection. Of course, for the PCB height detection, we can add a probe on the basis of the two-dimensional image measuring instrument, so as to achieve the purpose of simple three-dimensional detection. For the PCB height detection, I think it is more than enough.

 

In terms of PCB testing technology and testing instruments, we can clearly see from the above introduction that the use of a two-dimensional image measuring instrument to complete the testing of PCB related parameters is completely achievable by the two-dimensional image measuring instrument, and can complete PCB related testing tasks with high quality.
