IC / flat panel display is expected to become a hot investment spot in 2014

CCID think tank of the Ministry of industry and information technology predicts that in 2014, domestic basic industries represented by integrated circuits and flat panel displays are expected to become investment hotspots, and a large number of stimulus policies will be introduced.

On January 10, under the guidance of the electronic information department and the software service industry department of the Ministry of industry and information technology, the "2014 China Electronic Information Industry Annual Conference - trend foresight and policy interpretation" was successfully held in Beijing, which was hosted by China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute and hosted by CCID think tank of the Ministry of industry and information technology and China Electronics News. The theme of this annual meeting is "trend foresight and policy interpretation".

With the continuous promotion of China's comprehensive deepening reform, economic and social transformation, the deep integration of industrialization and industrialization, the promotion of information consumption, the construction of 4G and broadband in China, and the strengthening of network information security will certainly bring huge endogenous power and innovation space to China's electronic information industry. In 2014, how can China's electronic information industry seize the development opportunity and meet the great changes in the industry? Experts from CCID think tank of the Ministry of industry and information technology delivered a wonderful speech at the annual meeting and gave in-depth answers.

At the meeting, CCID think tank released a series of reports on the development situation of China's electronic information industry in 2014, covering electronic information manufacturing, software, integrated circuit, photovoltaic, new display, lithium-ion battery, led, computer manufacturing, mobile intelligent terminal, digital audio-visual, printed circuit, information technology services, industrial software, information security, mobile Internet, cloud computing There are many sub sectors of the electronic information industry such as big data.

In 2013, China's electronic information manufacturing industry was in a low-speed growth range. The growth rate of industrial added value and output value gradually slowed down, exports decreased significantly, investment rebounded slightly, and the growth rate of major industries except communication equipment manufacturing was less than 13%. In addition, from January to November 2013, affected by the slowdown of economic growth and sluggish market demand, the development of China's software and information technology service industry showed a slowdown trend, achieving a total software business income of 2.84 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.8%, 2.5 percentage points lower than the same period last year and 0.6 percentage points lower than the beginning of the year.

Looking forward to 2014, CCID think tank believes that the development of China's electronic information industry will continue to operate at a low speed, and the internal and external environment has not changed significantly, but there are still three main problems to be paid attention to: first, core technologies and key equipment have become the weakest link in improving the quality and efficiency of the industry; Second, the industrial chain integration ability of China's leading enterprises is weak; Third, the rise of international trade barriers has hindered "going global". CCID think tank believes that there are four hot spots in the development of China's electronic information manufacturing industry in 2014: first, the basic industries represented by integrated circuits and flat panel displays are expected to become investment hotspots; Second, mobile intelligent terminals led the accelerated growth of 4G mobile phones, tablet computers and other complete products; Third, the integration of information technology and traditional industries and the acceleration of product innovation; Fourth, the international competitiveness of leading enterprises in the industry has been enhanced.

Under the background of the weak recovery of the global economy, the development of China's software industry is not only challenged by the weakening market demand, but also faced with development opportunities such as the strong growth of information consumption demand, the acceleration of information investment and the accelerated development of emerging fields. CCID think tank put forward four basic judgments on the development situation of China's software industry in 2014: first, the implementation of the information consumption promotion policy and innovation driven strategy will be accelerated, and the implementation of the supporting policies and implementation rules of Document No. 4 will optimize the policy environment for industrial development; Second, the market scale has shown a good growth trend driven by various favorable policy factors, and the applications in medical, financial, telecommunications and other fields have been further expanded; Third, important technological trends such as networking, platformization, and integration have developed in depth, accelerating technological innovation and product innovation; Fourth, the operation of the software industry will continue to slow down and stabilize on the basis of steady decline in 2013.
