Mainland migrant worker shortage PCB Factory receives orders conservatively

The economy has recovered, but there is a serious shortage of migrant workers in the Yangtze River Delta of the mainland. The mainland economy is gradually recovering, and the operation of Taiwanese businesses is also warming up. Some PCB factories reported that the recruitment was not as expected, and so far the manpower level before the financial tsunami has not been restored. The market condition in the first quarter of this year is not light in the off-season. Although there are orders, they are afraid that they will not be able to deliver the goods, and they dare not accept the orders comprehensively. The head of the management department of a Kunshan PCB Factory disclosed that he had recently gone to Jiangxi to recruit workers. One manufacturer called for a 1000 yuan bonus for check-in, which was equivalent to nearly two months' salary in the first month, but the results were still limited. A plastic injection molding factory in Kunshan pointed out that in order to recruit workers, there was no alternative, and the agency fee also went up. It was hard to find a job when each person shouted at 500 yuan.

 

At the end of the new year, the supervisor of a PCB Factory said that there were hundreds of floating employees every month, so the recruitment was insufficient. He was more worried about the tide of returning home before and after the new year and would not return to the production line. However, local PCB manufacturers such as jinxiangdian, hanyubo Jianding and Dingying emphasized that the traditional off-season was not light in the first quarter of this year. In order to meet customers, the Spring Festival generally still fully mobilized manpower and stopped working overtime for production; In addition to Dingying's expectation that the first quarter will still be at least the level of the fourth quarter of last year, other operators believe that the decrease in revenue is due to the reduction in working days. In addition to the shortage of workers in the PCB industry, it also encountered downstream customers who asked for "commercial borrowing" of employees. Hundreds of employees were borrowed at a time for as long as one month. Compal computer, which has a record high Nb shipment volume, recently heard that Kunshan factory, in order to attract employees, draws out 30 awards to employees every day, hoping that employees will go to work.
