Recently, under the blazing sun, the Yingfu Industrial Park in Qingyuan High-tech Zone is bustling with construction activity. As a provincial key project, Jinlu Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jinlu Electronics) is seizing the opportunity to accelerate the development and industrialization of electronic circuit products for emerging applications such as high-reliability, high-density supercomputing and servers. The first production line is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second half of this year. With a total investment of 2.34 billion yuan, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of approximately 2.39 billion yuan once it reaches full capacity. This will not only break the long-standing capacity bottleneck of the enterprise but also add a new engine to the advancement of Qingyuan's electronic information industry.
At the construction site, a tide of progress is surging everywhere. Outside the factory area, the wastewater treatment facilities are being urgently assembled and commissioned; inside the production workshop, the installation progress of the VCP (Vertical Continuous Plating) production line equipment on the second floor has exceeded 70%; the feeding equipment on the top floor is also being assembled on site, with multiple production lines advancing simultaneously, maintaining a tense yet orderly pace.
It is understood that the project has a planned land area of 60 acres, with the main factory building under construction covering an area of approximately 76,500 square meters. Once fully completed and operational, it will produce 3 million square meters of high-end PCBs (printed circuit boards) annually.
"All approval procedures and civil engineering work for the early stages of the project have been successfully completed. The main structure of the factory building, facade, roads, and pipe network within the factory area have all been established. The plans for the smart workshop, warehousing, and digital platform have also been finalized, and the core production equipment has already been ordered," said Liu Haihua, the project leader of Jinlu Electronics. The first production line will be completed and put into operation in the second half of this year.
This expansion is not merely a simple increase in production capacity, but a genuine technological iteration and product innovation. Reporters learned that Jinlu Electronics' old factory in Qingyuan currently has a production capacity of 1 million square meters, which operates at full capacity all year round. The shortage of production capacity has always been a major concern for the company's development.
The old factory mainly produces through-hole boards for the automotive industry, with an average of only 4 to 6 layers on the circuit boards. The new production line focuses on high-end HDI boards and high-layer circuit boards, with the main products having an even higher average number of layers, up to 40 layers. The complexity of the process and the precision of the products have been improved by more than one level.
Meanwhile, the new production line products are fully targeted at popular sectors such as artificial intelligence, supercomputers, servers, optical modules, and high-end smart cars. The entire production line is equipped with hundreds of top-notch automation devices in the industry, coupled with intelligent warehousing and digital control systems, forming a modern smart factory.
The launch of the project cannot be separated from orders and talents, and Jinlu Electronics has already made relevant preparations.
"Currently, we have a significant number of intentional orders on hand, and many long-standing customers and new partners are eagerly anticipating the commissioning of our new factory." When discussing the market situation, Liu Haihua spoke with confidence. The preparation work for personnel is also proceeding in an orderly manner: management and technical backbones have been reserved six months in advance, and the recruitment and pre-job training of front-line employees have also been fully initiated. Some newcomers have been arranged to work alongside experienced colleagues in the old factory for practical training, so as to familiarize themselves with the operational procedures in advance and ensure stable operation once the production line is launched.
Having been rooted in Qingyuan for many years, Jinlu Electronics has already established a deep tie with local industries. Currently, a considerable portion of the board materials and various auxiliary materials required for production are sourced from local enterprises, with Jian Tao Group being a long-term partner. With the significant expansion of production capacity, the company will continue to increase local procurement efforts. It is revealed that at this stage, several upstream and downstream supporting enterprises of PCB have taken the initiative to connect and negotiate the settlement in Qingyuan, continuously enhancing the regional industrial agglomeration effect.
In terms of industrial layout, Jinlu Electronics' new project focuses on high-end computing power circuit boards, forming a pattern of dislocation development and complementary advantages with local counterparts in Qingyuan, jointly promoting the development and growth of the PCB industrial cluster in Qingyuan.
